TNC Economic Forum re-scheduled

Due to technical difficulties with the host system, TNC leaders Julian and ji981993 announced that the highly-anticipated TNC Economic Forum would be cancelled and held at a later date.

After President Gerry Brady announced that he would be unable to attend the forum, Culture Secretary Alex Pijanowski was to be the featured speaker. However, problems with Stickam, where the forum was being held, caused problems in the connection before discussion even began.

In his blog, JI announced that the Economic Forum will now be held on Saturday, March 13 at 0100 GMT. Guest speakers have not yet been announced; JI requested that anyone interested in being a guest speaker contact him.

Brady leading presidential race

With less than two days left to go in voting, incumbent Gerry Brady is winning the presidential election. The first incumbent President in history to run unopposed, Brady has earned all 11 votes cast in the election.

However, former President Jason "Trvthseeker" Ragan raised concerns about what he called the "tumbleweed" campaign. Ragan informed President Brady that "[his] own success could be [his] own death," as a presidential race lacking competition may cause some citizens to lose interest. The recently re-immigrated former Vice President, TJ Norton, voiced similar concerns.

President Brady now has his work cut out for him. In his first term, Brady has enhanced Titulia City the most since its foundation, worked successfully to restructure the republic's economic and proposition systems, and has proven a tireless advocate for the preservation of Titulia's cultural history. If the President can continue these policies, the fact that he won re-election unopposed may not matter.

Liberal searching for staff

The Titulian Liberal is proud to be up and running once again. However, we cannot provide the citizens of Titulia with the latest news and opinions if we are understaffed. A top-notch staff is essential to running an effective news publication.

Pijanowski completes purchase of Liberal

Former President and current Secretary for Culture, the Arts, and Media Alex Pijanowski has officially completed the purchase of the Titulian Liberal from TC MediaCorp. The paper was begun in January to complement the Titulia Conservative and RNC Daily, two conservative news sources run by TC, but the project failed to get off the ground and was soon put up for sale.

Pijanowski has previous experience in the media business as editor-in-chief of the Titulia Post. He also served briefly as acting editor-in-chief of the Liberal before TC announced it would sell the paper.
